Aloha City Rollers had an annual tradition to get dressed up in lights and festive attire then street skate at night to look at the pretty Christmas lights and decorations during the holiday season. We would wave and hand out candy canes to people we met. We even recruited a few league members during Christmas street skating. Aloha City Rollers league members also skated in the Kapolei City Lights parade from 2011-2015. League members would wear skate holding signs of float sponsors before each float and others would hand out candy canes to the crowds of people lining the parade path. Aloha City Rollers celebrated the holiday season with an annual Christmas party with league members and their families where we played games, talked story, and ate lots of food!
