News segment On The Radar did a feature on roller derby in Hawaii at the ACR Mililani practice track and featured members of Aloha City Rollers along with other Hawaii leagues in January 2016.

News segment on Channel 2 News in January 2015 after a woman roller skating down a hill was killed after crashing and suffering a head injury. The woman was not a member of any roller derby league, she was just someone having fun street skating. She was not wearing a helmet. Aloha City Rollers was contacted by the news to meet them at the crash site to discuss roller skating safety and this is the news broadcast of the story.

New segment Ask The Experts in November 2015 interviewed members of ACR to discuss roller derby and the new Team Hawaii.
